RFID Based Wireless Power transmission system for EV and Battery management system using Thinkspeak cloud

 

Introduction

IOT Plays an important role in monitoring system with thinkspeak cloud. So we integrated IOT with our hardware for continuous monitoring purpose. A  ESP 32 integrated with Wi-Fi is used and also it displays the information related to battery parameters in LCD Battery parameters are voltage  Based on the information displayed on LCD the owner can decide whether charging is needed or not.Our main aim is to design battery monitoring system and integrate IOT with it. So that information is available at any time and it will be very helpful to the owner.

 

Problem statement

  EVs are expected to become a relevant actor in the Smart Grids. It is expected that a group of vehicles will behave as mobile batteries with a low response time when activated or deactivated. They can compensate the intermittency of the renewable energy sources.
For this purpose, the batteries can be generators or they can also act as controllable loads in the Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) context.
In particular, if we study which type of vehicle contributed more to this pollution, we observe that 69% of these gases were caused by light-duty vehicles whereas 23% was related to medium and heavy-duty trucks. A similar conclusion can be derived when studying the data about Europe for the same year where 25% of the greenhouse gases were due to the transport sector

 

 

Methodology

There are two modules, they are

1. Electrical vehicle

2. Charging station

 

Module 1 has vehicle unit that consists of sensor modules I,e  and voltage sensor, sensor values readed by esp32 controller and monitoring in iot cloud i.e thingspeak opensource cloud as well as values shown in lcd display, and voltage sensor values readiing interms of percentage, when percentage, vehicle will move forward normally,  

 

Module 2 has charging station that consists of solar panel,esp32  controller module, and 16*2 lcd display, this module mainly to charge the vehicle in the charging station. Through winding coil electric charges generated.

Thingspeak:

The above operations performed by sensors are collected and stored in a cloud for reference and by analyzing this reference data the physicians will take the next step for resolving the problem that has occurred. The application used for storing and recovering this information is Thingspeak it's an open- source software it uses the internet for in taking the data that are provided by the sensor using internet standard protocols called HTTP and MQTT.
