The increasing need for efficient and real-time surveillance systems has led to the development of smart security solutions. This project, titled "Design and Implementation of IoT-based Intelligent Security System", presents a low-cost, effective, and intelligent security system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
The system integrates an ESP32 microcontroller with an ESP32-CAM module and a PIR sensor to detect human movement and capture images instantly. Once motion is detected, the ESP32-CAM captures an image and sends it via the Telegram app to the user’s smartphone using Wi-Fi. Simultaneously, a GSM module is triggered to send an SMS alert or make a phone call, ensuring the user is notified even when there is no internet connectivity.
A regulated power supply with a voltage regulator ensures stable operation of all electronic components. The system is compact, reliable, and suitable for applications such as home security, office monitoring, and remote surveillance of sensitive areas.
This project demonstrates how IoT can be effectively used to build an intelligent, real-time, and multipath alert system, enhancing security and user convenience through automation and connectivity.
